How AI is used on this site

AI tools assist work on this site. This page explains how to read the creation and review details in articles and what those records establish.

Writing, research and checking

The editorial workflow starts with a reader question, sources and a Hebrew outline. After drafting and editing in Hebrew, content is adapted into English. AI assistance can include research, drafting, editing, translation and technical checks. Its scope varies by article.

Who checked what

When a source check is documented, its record identifies who performed it and what it covered. Checks performed using Codex are identified as AI checks. Human contributions or reviews are displayed only when documented.

Describing the assistance

The assistance level describes the workflow. Review details are recorded separately. Some older articles do not yet have a complete creation record; missing fields do not establish that AI was not used.

No AI
Human writing, using only spellcheck-level tools.
AI-assisted editing
Human-written text with assistance in editing, proofreading or translation.
AI-assisted drafting
AI helped draft parts of the text. Human contributions and checks are recorded separately.
AI draft, human-edited
AI produced a draft that received human editing. The article records the scope of editing and review.

Data, images and corrections

Test results should identify the URL, date and conditions. Illustrative examples are labeled. A screenshot records what was visible when captured; it does not establish that conditions remain unchanged. AI-generated images should be identified accordingly.

A substantive correction receives an article update date. A typo correction alone does not change the substantive-update date.
